The car is an ma61 with the stock LSD I drove home from work tonight and in 1st and 2nd gear when i accelerated there was a chattering noise coming from the diff (90% sure) I had a look at the outside of the diff and there was some oil coming that looked like it was coming from a small bolt that wasn't wound down all the way. Im hoping that its just low fluid but im just concerned that it could be sheared teeth caused from my diff already having a whine from bearings. I had a look at some other diff noise videos and it doesnt sound as violent as the ones that had sheared teeth so i wont know until i have a dig around tomorrow

turns out its coming from the engine when i hit about 2.5k it sounds like rod knock so FML but im no expert, any suggestions?

I've owned 3 MA61s so far are and none of them had 5M-Es, does that tell you something lol

that and 5m-e are the crap engine Australia got and should all be converted to 1G/7M/1UZ etc lol
