This is my 1984 MA61 Celica Supra. After I bought it the engine devoleped rod knock which is pretty fun so it now has a new (old crap) 5me in it. Future Plans are: 1. MaxGrip LSD kit and new diff bearings from Weir Performance. 2. Rear AJPS slamming springs 3. Front coilovers sleeves from Otomoto Thats the plan haha. This is my awesome photoshop skills in action

Compression test
1. 130 2. 120 3. 100 4. 60 5. 120 6. 120
looks like a blown head gasket in #4 cylinder so i was thinking repair the other 5me and have a reliable engine (Less than $500) or chuck in a 7mge and bring the car to life
Thoughts??

Get a 7mge dude. But pop in a metal head gasket and replace the head bolts with stronger ones. The metal gaskets are quite expensive. But worth every penny if you don't want the same thing happening again.

what made you think it had a BHG? getting hot, missing etc? unusual to see such a drop in comp for just a HG. i'd be tipping its done rings or something similar.

MUCH easier to find a good 2jzge than a good 7mge

Don't engines need around a minimum of 90psi to fire on the particular cylinder? You could try the ol wet compression test.

Haha this is just too funny.
Since october 2012 I have painted the car gunmetal grey (poorly) slapped a 2jzge in and put some BC coilovers in the front and done a few drift days.
I am currently at the earlish stages of turboing the 2jzge so that I have a turbo. so far I have a bought a turdbro a turdbro manifold some dumpage pipe and a few things to make a 2jzgte ecu run the operation.
