So I've finished exams and I'm preparing my car for my first drift day on the 27th of July.
I've bought replacement shocks 2nd hand because my rears are cactus. While I'm at it I'll need more lock because the lock atm is Abysmal. luckily I have RA60 struts and steering arms lying around which provide a little more camber and the arms are 20 mm shorter so faster steering with more lock. the only problem that I have had so far is that the arms tapered hole which allows the strut to rotate is a different angle and will need to be machined but it should be sweet, ill be interested to see just how much extra lock can be created with this mod and if the camber is noticable.

So I have put the struts and steering arms in, and there is a little more camber but not much extra lock because the arms hit the stabilizing bar??? (bar that controls the position of the LCA) so further modification will have to happen with that maybe a bit of grinding the bar where it connects. I also took all of the loose interior out of the back from when I sprayed the car and didn't put it back in, along with the rear seats so there's less weight in the back I actually am not a big fan of interior so the car might stay without it but ill put the seats in after drifting. Also I will be the proud owner of a deep chin spoiler soon courtesy of my girlfriend for my birthday hahaha. I quickly knocked up a rear strut brace out of some mild steel tubing and it has actually made quite a difference in handling so I may have to make up a front strut brace also but maybe something a bit more elegant. Heres the brace.

looks like you are get the tail out pretty good. All it needs now are a nice set of fat "15x9 and "15x10 rims to fill out the flared guards.

So I been thinking about the next drift practice day on the 21st of september and I am fixing my squeaking power steering situation. When I did the engine conversion I foolishly changed the setup of the belt as it was faster than buying another belt. I also had the orientation wrong but I have now figured out what the person previously had done and I feel like a bit of a dumbass. But never the less a new belt has been ordered and the alternator moved up with a new bracket that I will weld in the coming days and it will hopefully not squeak and be a little tit. heres the new setup pretty much the alternator was moved up. Its not pretty but it will work To get a good look at the belts I took the front bar off my car and whilst it was off and isn't going back on until the belt is on, I decided to paint the deep chin. Before During I also decided to paint my spark plug cover and timing belt cover as I had mixed up too much paint I also cut off my steering arm locks and have some decent lock now YISH!! This much more lox Anyway things to do before the drift day will be. Find some more 15 inch wheels as I have lots of 15 inch tyres. Play with my timing I should probably get my own weldy as well. And make new steering arm stops

heres some skid pics This is my favourite pic The god dam alternator plug kept falling out lol 3 cable ties "fixed" that and the power steering which I over filled pissed everwhere and now its being a right tit so ill need to replace a couple hoses but it performed well. thanks again will for bringing out ur timing light ur a legend, and it did feel a bit better even with the stock crapped out 5me exhaust. Next up will be a 3 inch exhaust tucked as high as physically possible and maybe even theoretically as high as possible by "massaging anything that gets in my way haha im so sick of it scraping everywhere. Then coilovers in the rear to lift the old girl up
