So. I have another 1ggte engine, and this one has power steering and air con. What are people's thoughts on using the power steering? Ive been told its a bit of a nightmare to set up, been thinking that it would be cool to have but I guess the 1ggte is only slighty heavier than the 18R so not really a necessity. Thoughts!!!!!!!! Advice!!!!!. And yes Evan, scared me when you said parts were hard to find for 1 GEEZ. So I got a spare engine just in case. . P.s. Someone please find me a W58 gearbox. Cheers.

you can use a AE86 Sprinter or KE Corolla power steering rack I don't think they need shortening, they just need to be located in the right spot to stop bump steer. if you use the cross member out of the corolla the rack is already positioned for you. there is threads on Toymods That go into detail about this. All that needs to be change is the engine mounts and you are changing these anyway. The A/C would be cool too. pardon the pun.

I would probably try and get the power steering working, especially if your planning on running wide wheels + aggressive wheel alignment.

Yeah right. Ill go check it out. I thought it would be nice to have both power steering and A/C, a bit more work. But some more comfort gains to be had. Cheers Fella's

check out s-86.com, they have a complete drop in r&p (not p/s but close enough) to suit a TA22. Sam who runs it knows his stuff and should be able to help you out.
