I decided to put the rear panhard rod In this morning, but as usual something f*#ked up. The panhard rod on the diff end needs the shaft that runs through the original bush, so I started to push it out but it was bullshit tight. I did get it out but is now destroyed, so I have to get a new one made, up just more money I don't have!!!! Also in the process I smash the hammer into my hand, Should have stay inside.

If you don't brake anything or smash your nuckles on anything, it's not a real project car

I went back up to the shed to have a look at the shaft and decided it wasn't that bad after all. I straightened It up and sanded the edges off and it slipped into the heim joint hole. So I bolted the panhard rod up to the car. The diff is now centered, but there is no more adjustment so that was lucky. But there is a problem, the rod hits the back of the diff housing if I go over a decent bump. I will have to space out the diff mount so it sits out a bit more.

I have just driven my car for the first time with the heim jointed panhard bar. Marked improvement, even thou my 4 link bushes are still rooted, a lot less side way movement going around corners and no noise.

I'm getting the weld on coil overs and KYB AGX short stroke shocks that are damper and rebound adjustable with needle bearing hats so I can put my camber tops in. I'm trying to talk my misses to getting everything for the suspension so I don't pay as much for shipping. I will see how I go with that. I'm bartering with her, I said "you can have the kitten" she has been asking for, If I can get all my suspension parts. Still working on that one, I think she is thinking about it.

I have pulled the struts from my wreck celica out of storage to get them ready for the weld on coil over kit. I will be cutting the spring purch off and then when I get the short stroke AGX shockies, I will measure how much needs to be cut out of the middle of the strut body for the shockie to fit snug inside.

I decided to get these so I can drive the car again. It was very dangerous with the rear bushes worn out. Plus I couldn't afford the coilovers at the moment. So the saving starts again $895 will get the rest of the front suspension. rose jointed Tension rods, weld on coilovers, Needle bearing for the camber tops, weld on rose jointed lower control arms. Has anyone got any Upholstery job wanting to get done!!!!

Hi Evan yes I actually may do. I want to get the seats out of Eleanor cut the top part off them and get them covered in a leather lookalike material in black so they look more like the original mustang seats . How about a quote dude ?
