Hey guys i know it's been a while! Been flat out like a lizard drinking! So I still have the RA40 which is purring along nicely but I have also got a new toy! She's not a celica and I know I'm gonna cop a bit of slack over this but hear me out, she's a 1985 st141 corona sedan, with 119000 Klms on the clock in absolute mint condition, with myself being the second owner. I will put some pics up shortly but I can bring her along to the next meet if you guys are keen? Hope your all well. Cheers John

Oh and also a bit of an update on the ra40 too, she now has a new interior thanks to a donor car and is a two tone royal blue and brown (complete with rear hatch blind too!) and she has got a new exhaust system as I found the cannon actually had a bit of hole in it lol!. She's still 2 1/2 inch but now just one resonator and no cannon. Apart from all of that she's still purring (in fact took her to port Arthur last night and i still reckon that road is just awesome fun in a celica) just had to watch for roos lol

Hey yeah the corolla is at Hayley's dads place, the corona is actually quite similar to that one on gumtree but is a mark 1 (preface lift) that one is a mark 2 I did see that one on there and was thinking of buying it but this one came up and had lower Klms on it. Crazy though cause I was looking at the books (it has every reciept for every service since 1985!) and i came across the original sales reciept when it was new and bought from co-op Toyota in oct 1985 for $12996! I ended up buying it from co-op as they wanted to sell it because it has been in their showroom for the 100th anniversary and also because it had done such little Klms and was a genuine 1 owner!

Ladies and Gentlemen
We Have Twins!
As of today I have taken delivery of a second RA40 Liftback, shes a little bit rough at the moment and needs some attention but its going to make a good unit to restore.
I originally bought it for parts but after towing it down to Hobart from Launceston and a bit of an inspection we have decided that it is too good to wreck, so as a result we will restore this one to the same standard of our other baby.
On that subject I have just completed the Interior Resto and have made new door skins kickpanels and rear plastics have been restored, she still has the crème/blue theme going with crème seats and carpet and blue dash and plastics with blue roof but Im thinking of leaving this one like it as it looks alright, any thoughts?
the new baby needs a pretty good going over inside as this one is a bit worse for wear, she has the typical split vinyl dash and door skins but this is nothing I can't fix, she will also need new carpet however this will be a custom job for my upholsterer.
anyway guys I hope to catch up with you all soon, haven't had both on the road but as soon as we SI plate our original one and register the new one I will try to see if I can meet up with you all.
Cheers John
