Hi everyone, Just thought I'd put up a thread about my TA22 as some might find it interesting. Bought her two years ago- this is how she stood when I bought her; The seller and I did a lot of work on her together while she was in her stock 2T form- we mucked around with dual carbs and 32/36 webers- so the engine bay saw a few changes in the early years. Twin Solex's on custom adapter: 32/36 Weber setup: Finally I decided to harden up and throw a lot of money at her. This is how she stands now: Enter 2TGEU: - 45mm Individual Throttle Body - Rebuilt internals - 440cc injectors - Adaptronic e420c management - 36-1 trigger wheel - Tune length hurricane extractors - Custom 2.5" exhaust - High lift Wade cams The exterior- Interior- Fully sick subwoofa-

Bought a heap of goodies for her for the restoration. Updates should include a complete respray, GT front spoiler fitted, all chrome fixed, window tint and a few other bits. I've bought chrome springback mirrors and a center console from the states (the one that runs around the handbrake too) and am currently sourcing some fancy ST sill trims. Coilovers and big brake upgrade to follow! Ended up buying the mirrors on the very right here, I think they'll look great: Got a custom made vinyl trim made up for the dash: This is the picture that I've given to the restorer and said "make it look like this". With a no-limit budget I think I'll get pretty close- minus a few changes that I'd like to see for personal taste. And that's pretty much it. Obviously there's been thousands of tiny little jobs and things done, but it'd take me hours to put all that up on here. I'd be glad to hear opinions and suggestions from you guys, any input is good input! Frank

Who did the interior? It looks like a very loose fit to the seats. are they fitted over the original seat covers?

As with most of these old girls, the closer you look the more you see. I think I have the owners curse of never being 100% happy with her and always seeing areas to improve. I have to say I'm a big fan of the Rewinds too, I feel that they're definitely one of the better looking sets of wheels you can get without ruining the old school look too much. Watanabe's or meshies would be my next choice- I just wanted something German on there though. The previous owner did the interior. Back seat is a brilliant fit however the front could be tighter. That said it was his first time ever giving upholstery a go, so with that in mind I think they're pretty good. As far as I know he just used the original covers as templates- they were pretty torn up. I'd love a full vinyl retrim in black one day- but it's not right up there on the list of priorities and I'm not losing too much sleep over it right now, so I'll leave it for the time being
