engine out and then i found the flywheel... as you can see it had been lightened a stupid amount and had cracks all through it a friend at emu bay engineering hooked me up with a new billet version for $200 so it shouldnt be cracking again!! =)

heres the boot once i finally finished fatmatting and carpeting battery is back there with a bosh 450 fuel pump i think it is also 700 wats of pioneer/clarion (this was stolen out of another car of mine because the celica deserved it more!)

the fatmat was a super gay job so i got my lovely gf to do it for me =P hahaha she actually did an awesome job. fatmat extends in the boot, around the fuel tank, floor of course, quarter panels and doors. i think it was 100sp feet of the stuff and i still think it was lighter than the original sound proofing which wasnt doing much!!

note the new seat mounts in the photos above, to replace the brides i bought a boring old set of drift seats and cut the old mounts out and lowered them like 2 inches painted the engine bay in satin black to neaten it up a little

a TB/plenum this small just wont do! so i scrapped them =) and yes i know the spark leed situation isnt ideal but im in the process of getting new boots for them "they sent me the wrong ones when i was making them" and i was impatient so put them together anyway =/

thanks to my engineering degree i got all cought up in harmonics and fluid dynamics while designing the new intake manifold; it got gay so i gave up and just went for a 1.7L plenum with internal velocity stacks and as longer runners as possible while still fitting in the engine bay this accompanied by my new 65mm TB should do alright

i just cut up the old intake so that i didnt have to make a new flange and the stock injector mounting is actually quite nicely done so thumbs up to yamaha for that
