Hello everyone, Just found the car club and as I've had a few celicas and currently own a ta22 I thought I should get in on the action! I'll pop a few pics up soon of my car. Essentially its a 2 owner job, was an auto but now has a 5 speed. Other than that it is original, even down to the shiny hub caps. Hope new years didn't ruin anyone! Cheers, Jayden

Cheers for the welcome. Here is the old girl. When I brought it it had a blown welch plug at the back of the engine so I though whilst the gearbox was out I'll chuck a manual in it. Not sure if the diff ratio's are different between man and auto but it flies down the highway on 110 at 2500 rpm. Loves it! I'm swapping it to special interest this month, don't get it out much. I don't know if I will ever put the auto back in, but if anyone is interested in an auto gearbox give me a call. Also have some spares such as glass, dash, wiring looms, etc. Jay

Its pretty neat, I love the fact no one has molested it. Yeah in Hobart. I'm kind of happy I have a garage for it today, trees falling all over the place!

Original colour, has had a respray by the previous owner though but no actual ground up restoration done. No rust either. Those mirrors are from a ford falcon xa gt I think so I need to find some Toyota specific ones.

What's the interior condition like? Falcon mirrors, haven't heard of that before

Seats need re upholstering but other than that its great. Yeah, not sure why they are on there, but the bolt holes are the same. They just look a little odd!

I help a guy at work who was friends with the old owner sell this car. He saved the car from going to the tip and spent bucket loads to get it to the state its in now.
