hi, I went for rego a week ago for my ta22 celica but failed due to a worn pitman arm and first joint in the drive shaft. I have replaced the joint in the drive shaft but I am having trouble finding a new pitman arm to fit. I have a spare steering box with a pitman arm on it but that is also warn. I have gone to Repco and to ABS in lampton ave and they have both given me pitman arms where the teeth don't line up with the older pitman arms, plus they are a lot straighter than the older ones. does anybody know why both of the pitman arms don't fit, maybe they are different each model, and where I could get a new one that will? there are marking on the old ones, 305 and 405 if that helps

He's in Chesterman street off Derwent Park road in Moonah on the highway side almost at the end before you turn around the corner. He's up a short driveway.

thanks for the help. it turns out I can use the new pitman arm. I just pulled the steering wheel off and rotated it so its straight with the wheels straight. it still hits full lock both sides. passed rego today and had my first drive around glenorchy. the old 2t might need a tune and timing tune but turned a lot of heads. especially in the college car park.
