There's only 1 that I know of in Tas, and the owners are not interested in selling it.
When you say wod (wad) of cash, I just want to make sure you are aware that you would be super lucky to find a flat light GT for under 20k?

Yes a GT in good or better condition will be worth 20k+ and i will pay that. When I do find one I would like to do my part for this group and start a thread about the car, detailing every aspect with a full photographic account of all the small aspects which makes a GT. But for now one step at a time. I will need to import a vehicle into the Australia first. If anyone knows of places, a website or an organisations I can try to import a car from Japan I would greatly welcome your expertise. So feel free to private message me to discuss your thoughts and ideas.

I've watched a few people import cars through importmonster.com.au. Apparently really easy. jump on the website and check it out. They sort out collecting the car from the seller and all transport and delivery. Pretty good crowd from what I've heard.. you'll be lucky to find one though. But best of luck with it.

Thanks for highlighting this car. Im sure to the right person it will be worth its value. To me a 1972 GT Celica is my dream car. I am holdings out that the owner of the red one in Tassie will one day like to buy a new home, or another expense and would like some cash. If this day comes I hope he contacts me and ill buy his little red celica. Its nice to have a dream...
