Hi everyone,
Car goes to restorers next week and I can't find a GT style front spoiler to suit my TA22 anywhere in Australia. I've asked suppliers overseas but the cost and time frame of shipping from there is simply too much- every extra day spent at the panel beaters costs me a huge amount of money.
If anyone can supply me with a front lip, it'd really help me out.
Thanks,
Frank

the only real place I know is from the usa, they are way to hard to get your hands on in such short notice. I know there are some on ebay from the usa but I don't know if the shipping time frame and costs will be good for you. im lucky I got one with my ta22 good luck
love to see the Ta22 after it's finished

even if you can't find one in time, they are very easy to put on yourself after the car is restored. as long as you make good brackets and get the colour right, they are very easy to put on. can you get one when the car is been restored and just hand it to the restores?
let me know where you get it from if you do as I want to do mine full GT flares

Hey mate, yeah- the opportunity to do the panel restore was unexpected so I was unprepared for the job. I had intended to buy the spoiler and flares from a US source and not worry about the time frame, but now the situation has changed. With something the size and weight of a GT spoiler, the postage is nearly as much as what the item is worth from America. Would be happy to put up a thread on my 22 once it's finished, $10000 later and she's an absolute monster.
In the meantime- need to find some fiberglass!

Yeah Rick at toyhead has been around for years, he's always been expensive and with the dollar how it is now almost everything he supplies is way out of budget for me. Was really hoping to find someone with a stash of this stuff within Australia, but not even Dave over at Sleeka Spares has seen anything like what I'm looking for come his way recently.
Only option is to hit the forums in the hopes of getting lucky and finding someone with some spares.

I'd be happy to put up a members ride thread so you can check it out. It's not too pretty right now but that'll change shortly!
